I contracted Stewart Transport of Phoenix, AZ to deliver the kit. Other than the decision to buy a Factory Five Racing, the next best decision I made was using Stewarts instead of trying to do it myself. After making a couple of runs with my wife’s SUV for the boxes, we tackled the body/frame.
It turned out to be quite an event since we had to pull the car down a country road after dark. It must have been a site … me on my tractor towing the roadster laden dolly with the driver walking alongside the car keeping it under control. My wife took up the rear guard with the SUV lights a flashing. It took about 20 minutes for the transfer from the truck to the garage.
I should have used a better camera with a more powerful flash for these pictures.
I confirmed the box inventory and made sure all the key components were move into the garage but was too tired to start the inventory process.
